What It Is
A lipid-conjugated (palmitoyl) tripeptide that mimics a collagen breakdown fragment signal. One of the most established collagen-stimulating peptides in cosmetic science, and one half of the classic Matrixyl combination.
What It Does
Signals skin fibroblasts to produce more collagen and other extracellular matrix proteins. It works by mimicking the signals released when existing collagen degrades, triggering the skin's repair response.
