What It Is
A synthetic dipeptide that mimics the effect of Waglerin-1, a peptide found in temple viper venom, at neuromuscular junctions. Commercially marketed as SYN-AKE®. Used in anti-aging serums for expression line targeting.
What It Does
Blocks the binding of acetylcholine to nicotinic receptors at neuromuscular junctions, temporarily reducing the muscle contractions that create expression lines. Works through a different pathway from Argireline.
